Mario Santamaría (Burgos, 1985) works across a wide range of media, frequently using photography, video, performance, websites and online interventions. He is part of the space Trama34 in Hospitalet de Llobregat, collaborates regularly in the festival The Influencers of the CCCB Barcelona and co-curator of the Internet Yami-Ichi in Matadero Madrid. He was recently a finalist in the Post-Photography Prototyping Prize of the Fotomuseum Winterthur and included in Watched! Surveillance, Art and Photography by the Hasselblad Foundation. He has been artist in residence in Hangar Barcelona, Sarai New Delhi, HISK Gantes, Art3 Valence, Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg Stuttgart and Flax Art Studios, Belfast. His work has been shown among others in: CaixaForum Barcelona, MACBA Barcelona, ZKM Karlsruhe, WKV Stuttgart, Edith-Russ-Haus Oldenburg, Fundació Antoni Tàpies Barcelona, CENART Mexico, La Casa Encendida Madrid, Arebyte London, Münchner Stadtmuseum, Das Weisse Haus Vienna, Or Gallery Berlin and in the Biennials of Thessaloniki, Havana and Lyon. trabaja a través de una amplia gama de medios, utilizando
frecuentemente fotografía, video, performance, sitios web y
